Symphony of the Dead is a rhythm game where you play as the conductor of a creepy circus of zombie musicians hungry for flesh – your flesh. The only way to keep them distracted enough to not eat you: Keep the music going!
The game is played on a Game controller via PC. Each joystick controls each of the hands of the conductor, and you order the orchestra by hitting circles that appear around you.
The team:

My Role
- Game Designer: The premise of this class project was that every student had to come up with a game pitch, and the favorites would be picked to make a protoype of. Symphony of the Dead was my idea. A video of the original concept pitch can be found here
- Lead Programmer: The game was made in Unity so everything was coded in C#.
- Audio Design: I integrated the music and audio feedback into the game, using Wwise.
- Assistant Level Designer: We tried to make the level challenging and stressful, to add to the creepy ambience we were trying to accomplish. Balancing that with keeping the game enjoyable to play was not an easy thing to do.
